Kevin Sessums, Editor In Chief of FourTwoNine, is the former Contributing Editor of Vanity Fair, and author of the 2007 New York Times bestselling memoir and Lambda Literary Award winner, Mississippi Sissy.
FourTwoNine’s Photography Director, Joseph Alfieris, is an award winning publisher and creative director. In the US, he is known primarily as the founder of Contents magazine, published internationally throughout the 1990s and early 2000s to considerable acclaim.
FourTwoNine Publisher, Richard Klein, is a successful entrepreneur and a major voice in the world of design and publishing. He is the founder and former publisher of Surface magazine, which under his direction was lauded by national media, like Vanity Fair, with such quotes as “One of the most striking new independent magazines in America.” After selling Surface in 2010, Richard lead the launch of dot429 and is currently operating as the CEO.
